Responsibilities
•Work with business stakeholders to understand the HR challenges they are trying to solve, and how Workforce Insights can help them solve them.
•Document requirements, features, and user stories in MicroFocus ALM Octane that specify how the solutions will be built
•Work with product leadership to prioritize the backlog, plan sprints and releases, and manage the functional side of the agile development process
•Understand HR business issues and how data, reporting, and analytics can be used to solve them
•Apply "data journalism" to tell stories with HR Data that help HR resources and their business partners improve the impact of their workforce
•Work with data scientists to leverage predictive model insights into our designs and solutions
•Develop wireframes, process flows, and supporting documents for use by product development in implementing the solutions
•Work with customer advisory boards to understand their needs and build them in to the backlog
•Lead a team of business analyst resources, managing their workload, performance, and ensuring quality.
Basic Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in HR, HR Software, and/or HR Software development
•Strong knowledge of HR business processes, HR reporting, HR KPIs, etc.
•Demonstrated experience working as a Business Analyst in an agile software development life cycle, including experience with writing use cases, journey maps, user stories, etc., preferably within ALM Octane
•Demonstrated experience as a team leader, project manager, and coach
•Experience with HRMS systems and data models (SAP, Oracle, SuccessFactors, Workday or other HR system)
•Knowledge of HR data warehouse and/or data lake concepts
•Knowledge of AWS architecture, particularly data and analytics architecture and Redshift
•Comfortable working in a collaborative, virtual environment, providing and accepting continuous feedback and support across multiple teams
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Internet applications
•Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate effectively
•Excellent organizational skills - must be able to multi-task
