Job Description

Job responsibilities

  • The work is exciting, creative, fast paced, and intellectually stimulating. Strong skills in execution and team collaboration are a must. Our ideal candidates have a strong desire to learn more about games and the people that play them.
  • Work closely with the UX team and front-end engineering teams to create shared & reusable components Implement versatile front-end solutions to exciting web development problems Work closely with designers for pixel-perfect implementation Inform product decisions based on technical feasibility, and provide input on designs Create lightweight and larger tools to increase the productivity and effectiveness of the Stadia UX team

Required Skills

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, HCI, Design
  • Experience with web technologies (object-oriented JavaScript, HTML, CSS), and experience with the latest web standards including HTML5 and CSS3
  • Experience writing production-quality code
  • Experience working with UX design teams and implementing complex UIs Preferred qualifications
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (such as Backbone, Angular, or Ember) and CSS pre-processing frameworks (such as Sass or Less)
  • Experience with Dart & Java
  • Experience with user-interface design
  • Strong sense of web design and attuned to the fundamentals of user experience, including accessibility
  • Ability to communicate to all levels (internal and external) with strong problem-solving skills
