Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ability to contribute to hardware and software networking solutions, architectural designs, and recommendations for best practices.

• Support all Element Fleet Management network based infrastructure, to include local and remote offices, as well as local and remote data centers. Infrastructures included are LAN, WAN, Security and Wifi technologies

• Configuration, connection and maintenance of network devices to include: Routers, L2/L3 Switches, Firewalls, Load Balancers and Wifi Access points and controllers

• Interface with internal IT groups, as well as business units to provide effective, secure and fault-tolerant network configurations

• Investigate, implement and/or troubleshoot network related projects and issues

• Document network related topologies and workflows via tools such as Visio, Excel and Word

• Must be available to be part of a rotational on-call schedule

• Interface with customers to complete network related projects and to troubleshoot network related customer issues

• Interface with vendors to implement and troubleshoot network related vendor supplied solutions

• Reports to Manager of Telecom & Network Operations
