Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on instruction for commercially available software and hardware including, but not limited to, current and legacy versions of Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office, Office 365, PDF software, mobile devices, printers, scanners, etc.
  • Deliver hands-on instruction for highly customized or proprietary software, which may include the case management system, PeopleSoft Human Resources, and Learning Management system.
  • Attend pre-instruction/deployment setup meetings and conference calls locally in Annapolis and in locations throughout the State of Maryland as needed.
  • Provide post instruction/installation/upgrade deskside support for all users.
  • Function as liaison between end users and leadership and designated individuals including help desk team, programmers, analysts, technicians, and project managers.
  • Provide phone/help desk support as assigned.
  • Assist with all functions necessary to create, edit, modify, produce, and disseminate instructional documentation as assigned.

Requirements:

    • Personal Vehicle for work travel.
    • Proficiency with current and legacy versions of the Windows operating systems including XP, 7, 8, 10, and others.
    • Extensive experience delivering customer training programs to individuals and groups of users.
    • Interpersonal skills that include the patience, tact, political correctness, and ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
    • Aptitude to become proficient with commercial and proprietary software and hardware including, but not limited to, case management software, revenue collection software, personal computers, printers, cash register system components, scanners, and mobile devices.
