Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware (11g/12c) administration - Oracle HTTP Server, Weblogic, Forms and Reports - in a load-balanced/distributed/clustered environment.
    • Senior level understanding of managed servers/domains, clustering, NodeManager, OEM, connection pools, JMS modules, configuration utilities, reconfiguring domains, etc.
    • Installation, upgrades and patching via oPatch/bsu/SmartUpdate.
    • WLST scripting.
    • experience upgrading large, clustered OFM environments from 11g/12cr1 to 12cr2.
  • Understanding of the java language common class files, command line configuration options, ability to interpret Java errors in log files.
  • Experience with installation, management and troubleshooting of Oracle Forms and Reports.
  • Willing to participate in on-call pager rotation and serve as Tier III technical support.
  • Able to pass standard criminal background and credit check.
  • Able to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
