Job Description

 Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer science or related field is strongly desired

• 5-7 Years of experience with Large databases in a high transaction 24x7 Oracle database environment

• Responsible for database monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and high availability strategies for Oracle 11g and 12c

• Technical experience with High availability on Oracle RAC

• Participate in design and architecture review of the databases and applications. Lead efforts with database topology review and communicate with multiple teams to finalize optimal design for databases and applications

• Require good skills in performance monitoring using Oracle Grid Control

• Develop backup and recovery strategies. Anticipate hardware requirements and storage capacity planning for development, testing, QA and production for growth and performance

• Good skills and working knowledge in database partitioning, security and encryption.

• Lead performance monitoring and tuning of assigned projects and communicate with other teams for any root cause issues.
