Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Produce and implement Ansible playbooks, Python scripts, and bash shell scripts for the purposes of automating application deployments, system and middleware configuration management, performance and health monitoring.
  • Work closely with Java developers in application troubleshooting, design, and continuous integration from an operational perspective.
  • Monitor and respond appropriately to outages and alerts, escalating issues as needed.
  • Work with partner IT organizations to develop, document, and implement solutions in a consistent, repeatable manner.
  • Respond to Service Requests and Service Restoration tickets.
  • Plan, document, socialize, and implement Change Requests.
  • Develop and maintain detailed, shared technical process and procedure documentation, including processes for contingency operations.
  • Implement necessary patches, hotfixes, service packs, cumulative updates, upgrades, and configuration change to maintain security compliance and application integrity.
  • Research, document and implement new technology solutions.
  • Work extended hours as necessary to maintain existing or implement new technology with minimal customer impact.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Travel occasionally - up to 5% the time. Handle other duties as assigned
