Job Description

Experience and Skills:

  • Strong Proficiency with object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, etc.
  • Proficient with JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as AngularJS, Knockout, JQuery or Backbone
  • Strong data analysis skills and proficiency with Python
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in information technology, with at least 1 year in the Finance industry.
  • Experience in delivering front office systems/tools across a range of asset classes and investment strategies
  • Proven ability to manage diverse client/stakeholder relationships and to collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • In-depth understanding of the DevOps development practices. Deep familiarity with modern software development and design concepts encompassing a range of languages and platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills, anticipates issues and deals with them proactively
  • Experience in developing Service Oriented Architectures (SOA)
  • Experience in cloud-based development
  • Ability to work on multiple projects, manage user expectations and complete work requests within the stated or expected deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven track record in forming strong, long term partnerships with business stakeholders. Understands business needs and priorities, provides thought leadership on potential solutions and the opportunities for technology to impact the team.
  • Demonstrates a passion for technology innovation balanced with a pragmatic approach to developing and deploying solutions that best benefit the business
  • Highly collaborative, works effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and across a variety of functions.
  • Promotes and demonstrates a culture of front to back ownership
  • Bachelor s Degree in business or related field required
