Job Description

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of software development and automation experience with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired.
  • High level knowledge of process automation industry leaders including their strengths and weaknesses.
  • Minimum 2+ hands-on years of experience with RPA tools such as Automation Anywhere preferred including coding development/debugging, infrastructure administration (Control Room), and Metabot / API development.
  • Strong Windows scripting, VB, or C# experience required.
  • Proven information architecture skills, specifically related to Automation capabilities, along with thorough understanding of inter-relationships between interfaces.
  • Thorough understanding of core IT infrastructure (operating systems, security credentials, web servers, mail servers, proxies, etc.)


Responsibilities:

  • Partner with division RPA champions to identify and understand process opportunities, assess automation feasibility, estimate development complexity and timelines, and support development resource planning needs.
  • Research and analyze business problems to determine suitable intelligent automation solutions available in the market and communicate with business customers, strategic partners, and development teams.
  • Design and develop efficient automation processes with well-structured and easily maintainable code.
  • Support existing process automations and implement new requirements and code enhancements using an Agile change control process.
  • Create and maintain solution documentation in a timely fashion as requirements by enterprise methodologies.
  • Troubleshoot development roadblocks, environment, and production issues and lead issue resolution with business and development teams with mitigation plans
  • Lead and peer review automation implementations developed by other team members.
  • Enhance/Standardize existing Design Standards, Coding Guidelines to streamline the repeatable design, development, and release process.
  • Propose, pilot, and implement innovative and efficient automation solutions.
  • Proactively identify and lead technical and system integration challenges and work with other teams (security architects, DBA’s, integration specialists, subject-matter-experts, etc.) through issue resolution.
  • Learn and adapt to new tools, technologies and lead the implementation across the enterprise in accordance with Freddie Mac operational and security standards.
  • Train and mentor new and/or junior members of the team.
