Job Description Allstate Internal Audit (Allstate IA) Data Analytics Center of Excellence (COE) is responsible for providing data-driven and systematic assurance across Allstate Corporation. Our objective is to enable Internal Audit to leverage data and analytics to drive more robust audit processes that provides more breadth and in depth insights to the company s overall understanding of its risk environment. Internal Audit also leverages data and analytics to arrive at insights related to fraudulent risks faced by the company. This role is unique in a way that you get to manage a newer strategic program in the department, consisting of various large, key initiatives. You will be responsible in providing a strategic view, thought leadership and directions for the program as it expands, and you will be provided opportunities to have interactions with various levels of leaders, including senior leaders across the company. You will manage a team of data scientists and fraud specialists and be exposed to various audit and advisory projects across a myriad of themes (technology, operations, financial, claims among others).

Job Summary: The Data Analytics Manager is responsible for providing leadership, strategic, technical insights and direction to lead and manage the Allstate Internal Audit Fraud and Analytics (AIFA) program. The AIFA program is involved in facilitating the technical, analytical and business process knowledge and support to the broader internal audit department in executing audit engagements, advisory and initiatives utilizing data and analytics. This role is responsible for leading the program in executing its mandate and managing a team of 4- 6 data scientists and fraud specialists. Strategic initiatives within the program may include creating training strategy to for the department in the data analytics capabilities, providing risk-based analytic advisory programs, formalizing and implementing key enablers on fraud and analytics such as building a knowledge repository of data, creating analytic product inventory, maintaining analytic result dashboard and implementing automation in data extraction, translation and load processes. This role is also responsible for providing strategic thought leadership on leveraging analytic and visualization toolsets and infrastructure.
