Candidate will participate in development and distribution of AI/ML operational model for the Verizon Business Group organization. Part of an organization of multiple AI/ML technical architects in reporting structure to aid in the development and deployment. Objective of the team will be to transform the existing operational model into a data driven automated solution set allowing for overall improvement to the availability, stability and performance of the operations environment. This will include both on premise data environments along with cloud enabled application suites. Interface to Verizon Corporate data lake and analysis environments, along with associated staffing of data scientists and machine learning engineers will also be required.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

Understanding of roles and responsibilities associated with AI/ML including Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, Research Scientist & Distributed System Engineers
Posses background and skills in data science
Understand applied research and heavy-duty coding practices
Ability to run the operations of a machine learning project
Manage the infrastructure supporting a machine learning project
Manage the data pipelines needed to bring code to production
Ability to tackle discrete problems using preexisting data to validate models
Support corporate machine learning engineers and data scientists
Understand and build on promising data leads uncovered by data scientists or experiment with novel approaches
Focus on managing the challenges associated with large data sets and distributed scale issues.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or other related field.
AI/ML Certifications a plus
