Job Description
  • 8+ years' experience working with Java and relevant technologies
  • Current hands-on experience with implementation of strategic platform using java or similar technologies
  • Strong experience on developing software in Agile environment
  • Experience with Synchronous and asynchronous system integration approaches, e.g., message queues, Publish /Subscribe, Request/Response, etc.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit/TestNG) and concepts (Test Driven Development, Regression and Parametric testing)
  • Strong knowledge of various configuration/source code management tools (SVN, Maven, Git)
  • Strong expertise in core Java (JDK 8, Java Enterprise Edition 6, J2EE) focused on server side development.
  • Multithreading knowledge (thread pools, deadlock management, multithreaded design).
  • Experience with Spring (Bean)
  • Experience in middleware technologies including Messaging; JMS/TibcoEMS/RV; experience with unit testing frameworks (Junit, JMock, Fitnesse).
  • Low-latency / high-frequency message management is a MUST, with experience in multi-tier architectures
  • Current hands-on experience with implementation of large strategic platform using java or similar technologies, AND significant experience of design patterns and Java best practices.
  • Analytical mindset, creativity and commercial focus to deliver optimal solutions for the business
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix management environment
  • Promotes effective teamwork with open communication channels
  • Must be well organized and self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Should be able to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently
