Big Data Developer must have these traits/capabilities to be successful:
- Extensive experience with Hadoop development projects, inclusive of HDFS, Hbase, Spark, graph databases (Titan in particular), Kafka
- Must have experience leading teams (for senior big data developers on the team)
- Very strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passionate about delivering accurate (and brief) documentation about what has been delivered
- Love working with people
- Inquisitive
- Have a high bar for quality
- Passion for Agile development, and experience with AgileData Quality Developer must have these traits/capabilities to be successful:
- Incredibley passionate about data
- Extensive experience in creating data quality rules at multiple levels (attribute, entity, feed) of data
- Experience with Informatica Data Quality
- Very strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passionate about delivering accurate (and brief) documentation about what has been delivered

- Have a high bar for quality
- Passion for Agile development, and experience with AgileData Quality Developer performs these activities:
- Works with the data analyst and business data modeler to flesh out the exact set of data-quality rules that should be built into the process, and where in the process those checks should occur
- Develops and tunes the data quality rules and processes in Informatica Data Quality
- Follow the standards set by MetLife for implementation of data quality rules
- Perform peer reviews of data quality implementations as soon as they are delivered
- Perform demos, design reviews, and code reviews for program- and platform-level governance groups
- Participates in sprint planning sessions, including providing detailed tasks that are required to fulfill stories
- Always, always keep Jira information up-to-date
