<p><span><span><br /> <br /> <strong>Job Description</strong></span></span></p> <ul> <li><span><span>Experience in Hadoop distributions (Apache / Cloudera / Horton works)</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Ability to deploy and maintain multi-node Hadoop cluster </span></span></li> <li><span><span><strong><span>Experience working on SPARK RDD, SPARK SQL &amp; SPARK STREAMING.</span></strong></span></span></li> <li><span><span><strong><span>Experience in Data Lake</span></strong></span></span></li> <li><span><span>Create and manage a strategy and implementation project roadmap, including managing a pipeline of analytics requirements and through governance, agreeing the priority of these for the available resources.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Establish relationships with business to meet the operational and analytics needs of the organization. Collaborate across business units with stakeholders, providing thought leadership, and driving day-to-day implementation of our analytics strategy.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>&nbsp;Provide thought leadership on the technology implementation and also on the possibility for the business to leverage big data and analytics for material impact.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Interface with business technology and analytics community both within and outside the company to rollout company initiatives that have information management components and engagements with 3rd party data providers</span></span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span><span>Experience working with Big Data eco-system including tools such as Hadoop, Map Reduce, Yarn, Hive, Pig, Impala, Spark , Kafka, Hive, Impala and Storm to name a few &nbsp;Knowledgeable in techniques for designing Hadoop-based file layout optimized to meet business needs</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Understands the tradeoffs between different approaches to Hadoop file design</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Experience with techniques of performance optimization for both data loading and data retrieval</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Experience with NoSQL Databases &ndash; HBase, Apache Cassandra,&nbsp; or MongoDB</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Able to translate business requirements into logical and physical file structure design</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Ability to build and test rapidly Map Reduce code in a rapid, iterative manner</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Ability to articulate reasons behind the design choices being made</span></span></li> </ul> <p><span><span>&nbsp;</span></span></p>
