Job Description

Responsibilities :

                 As a Big Data Developer, you are expected to :-

    • Primary skills: Cloudera, Hadoop (Hive, hdfs, Kafka, oozie), Scala, UNIX (shell scripting)
    • Should have a minimum for 1-3 Years of experience in the Big Data development
    • Should have played a developer role on Big Data/Hadoop echo systems
    • Must have experience on implementing Big Data application using Scala
    • Must have exp in designing and implementing Streaming applications using Kafka
    • Good Experience in Docker and preferably understanding of Kubernetes/Open Shift platform.
    • Management of Hadoop cluster, with all included services such as Hive, HBase, mapReduce, Spark, SparkR, Python, Scala and Sqoop
    • Ability to solve any ongoing issues with operating the cluster and identifying performance bottlenecks.
    • Proficiency with Hadoop v2, MapReduce, HDFS
    • Experience with building stream-processing systems, using solutions such as Storm or Spark-Streaming.
    • Good knowledge of Big Data querying tools, such as Pig, Hive, and Impala
    • Experience with various messaging systems, such as Kafka, Scoop
