Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, Develop, Test and Manage complex applications on SalesForce.com platform, including technical designing, coding, debugging, performance analysis, packaging
  • Design and Develop Customizations, Coding on SalesForce.com platform
  • Design and Develop complex integrations using SOAP and REST API Web Services
  • Work closely with business analysts to realize the full capabilities of Salesforce.com CRM and how it can be best applied to meet the needs of a rapidly growing, global user community
  • Ability to understand and interpret business requirements and communicate effectively with the team/business.
  • Work as a member of a team developing Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Aura Framework, new functionality and enhancing existing functionality. Design and deploy high quality, scalable code
  • Lead and/or contribute to all technical aspects of IT projects, including writing technical and functional specification documents
  • Ensure that documentation of code, as well as application use and flow, is accurate and well written
  • Perform routine review of code, configuration, data, and usage to ensure long term viability, integrity, and adoption
  • Handle numerous projects/priorities using proven project management methodologies and sound development practices to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions
  • Develop technical designs, conduct unit tests, and deploy custom code in coordination and collaboration with the Salesforce System Administrators, as required
  • Work with Business Systems Team and business users to interpret the business requirements and define the scope of development efforts
  • Develop and maintain Visualforce, AppExchange Packages, Force.com pages, and integration to other third party solutions
  • Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues involving CRM and other related systems
  • Assist Project Managers by identifying required tasks, timelines, dependencies, critical path items, resource requirements, etc. to complete a project

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated deep technical knowledge with the following; Visualforce, Apex controllers and triggers, Lightning Components, APIs, Governor limits, Web Services, Batch Jobs, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Integrations.
  • Proficiency with Force.com data model and how and when to create custom objects vs. using Salesforce out-of-the-box functionality
  • Solid knowledge of SOQL and understanding of relational databases
  • Understanding of object-oriented concepts and design patterns
  • Proficient in SFDC Administrative tasks
  • Proficiency with Force.com IDE like Visual Studio Code, The Welkin Suite, AutoRABIT or Eclipse.
