 This position will be focused on building fully automated software deployment pipelines for our machine-learning products. Whether you are an Aspiring person to build/release engineer or you want to built a strong career as a developer or systems engineer and you are looking to branch into building automation solutions, this is the perfect opportunity.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Configuration and Deployment automation
  • Application code pipeline orchestration
  • Continuous delivery technical leadership

Key Job Duties:

  • Design and build automated code deployment systems that simplify deployments.
  • Orchestrate application deployment all the way through multiple layers of a solution.
  • Ensure that deployments to all environments are easily repeatable and predictable.
  • Coach product teams to fully leverage deployment tools and standards.

Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of compilers, continuous build technologies, development technology build mechanisms, API based integrations.
  • Configuration and automation implementation, health checks, single point of failure, notifications.
  • Strong skills in any of the following tools and coding languages or similar: Python, Docker, Jenkins, Chef, Git, Maven, Gradle, Artifactory, Java, Linux.
  • Strong skills with a variety of different data stores, relational and non-relational
  • Effective cross-functional leadership skills (verbal communication skills, strong collaboration skills, empathic).
  • Ensuring operational best practices by working closely with development and operational teams.

Performance Expectations

    • Perform job responsibilities as directed achieving desired results within expected time frames and with a high degree of quality and professionalism
    • Establish and maintain positive and productive work relationships with all staff, customers and business partners
    • Understand that functionality, quality, and schedule are all important cornerstones in the software development lifecycle
    • Collaborate with all consumers of the DevOps ecosystem
    • Discover and adopt tools/techniques to bring automation, repeatability and predictability for improved quality and/or productivity
    • Learn new technologies within a reasonable timeframe
