Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Creates clear reporting on requested business metrics using Microsoft Power BI and other reporting tools.
    • Designs, develops and maintains custom reports using SQL programming, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Power BI and other analytic/ programming tools as needed to support reporting and analytic needs.
    • Extracts, analyzes, and interprets healthcare and/or financial data to address business needs.
    • Supports management and business development team with analytics and reporting for strategic initiatives.
    • Performs analysis on healthcare data from EMR platforms.
    • Works in partnership with management to ensure the accurate collection, analysis and distribution of data.
    • Creates compelling and effective charts, tables, presentations and other visuals that convey analytic results clearly and effectively.
    • Designs, builds, tests and ensures reports are implemented, maintained and updated based on established business requirements.
    • Tests, validates, implements and provides ongoing support of business intelligence solutions and dashboards
    • Collaborates with leadership to provide meaningful and credible feedback on reporting capabilities and needs.
    • Collaborates with management and other business process owners to gather report requirements and specifications in order to design, develop and deliver reporting solutions which meet business and IT objectives.
    • Analyzes data using problem-solving and analytical skills, correlates with business processes and assists management by developing solutions to business issues.
    • Evaluates recurring requests to determine when data can be incorporated into standard monthly reports.
    • Conducts routine data validation.
    • Tracks issues with reports, including defects in logic, data quality problems and process errors.
  • Assists with analytics across the Company, including investigating data to identify patterns and trends. assess business impacts, and make recommendations
  • Summarizes and presents analytical findings to senior leadership.
  • Assists with completion of special projects as requested by various internal departments, or in support of requests from regulatory agencies, contracting agencies, or other external organizations

Qualifications and Required Skills:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Health Information Management or related discipline required
  • 5-7 years industry experience in IT relational databases and SQL reporting
  • 5-7 years of increasingly complex experience in quantifying, measuring, and analyzing financial/performance management metrics
  • Healthcare provider operational workflow knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Experience working with EMR databases.
  • Expert level with Microsoft Business Intelligence tools and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence platforms
  • Knowledge of data visualization and reporting techniques
  • Highly analytical with ability to translate complex information into simpler terms and concepts.
  • Experience creating SQL queries from scratch (including complex stored procedures) and data processes
  • MS Office suite
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including written communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Highly effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Must be committed to high performance and superb customer service.
  • Must be self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Team player with ability to collaborate with others.
