Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The DevOps Analyst works with developers and is responsible for the administration, maintenance and advancement of enterprise wide deployment and source code tools.

  • Enterprise wide build and deployment analyst with the ability to communicate at various levels of the organization.
  • Source code system administrator - TFS / Visual Studios.
  • Troubleshoots issues that arise during the lifecycle of a project and escalate as appropriate.
  • As directed, participates in conducting analysis, design and implementation of computer-based deployment systems to meet specified design requirements and specifications.
  • Supports the implementation of code into production.
  • Understanding of source control systems required (TFS, VSTS, Git)
  • Automate software builds, configuration, and deployments to testing and production environments.
  • Build a culture of customer satisfaction based on operational excellence, big picture understanding, continuous improvement, and proactive thinking.
  • Work with other departments to assure that the voice of operations is appropriately represented in product strategy and implementation strategy.
  • Ability to communicate at various levels of the organization.
  • Streamline and enhance the day-to-day operational workflows of interconnected services.
  • Modifies, maintains, and updates existing programs of a standard nature.
  • Assists in the preparation of supporting procedures, forms and system documentation.
    Ability to push back on deployments that are not production ready
  • Production issue remediation.
  • Follows our IT standards.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work effectively with offshore resources, during business and off hours.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
