Job Description

 Performs a wide range of system administration duties on all servers including installs, debug, maintenance, upgrade, and general support.

Maintains Windowsand servers including a domain server with Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.

Evaluate, test, and deploy all software and hardware upgrades to the server infrastructure.

Perform regular and on-demand system backups and recoveries

Assist in developing, implementing, testing and maintaining server level disaster recovery plans.

Collect and review system data for capacity and planning purposes.

Interface with vendors for procurement & maintenance of all software required to support IPS infrastructures.

Manage & troubleshoot networks, intra-net & inter-net connectivity throughout the organization.

Work closely with the IPS teams to provide end-user support and issue resolution.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging server tools and technologies.

Create and maintain documentation for all processes and procedures.

Maintain and configure AlienBrain Asset Management for Artists software and other system administration functions.

Setup and configure Linux based systems for projects.

Manage the group's software licenses and software license cost and fees database for yearly budget planning cycle.
