Job Description:

  • Implement, maintain, and monitor SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, test, production)
  • Maintain integrity of SAP environments by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to ensure all configuration and development objects are promoted properly using structured approach to minimize risk
  • Design and implement an optimal SAP configuration to maximize system performance and availability
  • Monitor installation and configuration of all required SAP database servers and application servers at hosting provider
  • Manage SAP users, authorizations, and profiles
  • Distribute the online SAP user workload and monitor and manage the SAP background job workload
  • Configure and manage the SAP printing subsystem for all SAP instances
  • Perform SAP client administration (create client, copy client, delete client, export/import client) as required
  • Maintain SAP performance by planning and executing SAP tuning strategies
  • Perform Database Administration activities on SAP databases as required
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades
  • Develop and maintain system documentation for all SAP instances and interfaces
  • Continue professional by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Cross-train on various business software applications and infrastructure used at the company. Expand knowledge of company's business.
