Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Machine Learning Engineers x2. (Level 8 or 9)

The Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for advocating, educating and ensuring that machine learning (ML) teams across the enterprise are following best practices around the preferred technology stacks. As a member of the newly formed Machine Learning Center of Excellence, this position will use in-depth knowledge and experience to build and modify of complex software applications. This position will also create detailed specifications, conduct quality assurance reviews of peer's application programming, and act as a resource for other team members when needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Creating Machine Learning Solutions to achieve organizational objective

• Consulting to product development teams best practices related to:

• Big Data and Data Science tools and frameworks (i.e. one or more of Hadoop, Spark, Python, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, R)

• established Machine Learning algorithms and how/when to apply each

• Machine learning techniques (i.e. classification, regression, clustering) and principles including (training, validation, etc.)

• Building both real-time and offline Machine Learning models
