Job Description

HDP2.6 experience is preferred

Experience with Linux operating systems

Experience with Cluster monitoring, performance tuning.

Experience with troubleshooting potential configuration problems.

Experienced in Hadoop Administration and Linux;

Have good experience in dealing with customers/clients;

Able to work independently;

Able to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment;

Good in troubleshooting and resolving the customer's support issues;

Passionate and willing to learn new technologies.

Support/troubleshooting experience in one or more of the following areas:

Networking, Hadoop core, HBase, HIVE

Linux and or Unix environments

Scripting at the command line level for Linux

Enterprise storage, databases or high-end server solutions

Virtualized environments such as ESX, Xen, KVM, or AWS and EC2 NAS and/or SAN

Educational Qualifications:



    • Required - Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent
    • Preferred - Master s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent
