Job Description

Responsibilities :

  • Build relationships with Workday stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Works with primary stakeholders, consultants and vendor support to define, implement and maintain application configurations, automated workflows, and applications integrations.
  • Lead and participate in the research, design, development, testing, delivery and training of new and modified business processes, reports, and tools
  • Provides direct support to primary stakeholders.
  • Process and manage helpdesk Workday tickets as applicable
  • Administers Workday environments, particularly in the coordination of semi-annual system upgrades.
  • Works with Business Technology staff to resolve technical issues.
  • Works with subject matter experts, primary stakeholders and corporate training department to develop and deliver training to end users.
  • Workday configurations and changes to configurations
  • Assist other Workday Analysts as necessary
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned

Workday Responsibilities :

  • Create, maintain and improve Workday custom reports, dashboards, and analytics across all aspects of Workday continuously.
  • Serve as a thought partner for customer groups, advise on business requirements, data presentation, report performance, and metrics and measures that inform business insights, and support decision making.
  • Apply deep analytical expertise to functional business requirements, increase awareness and adoption of Workday reporting capabilities, and display a proven track record of quickly absorbing new technologies and processes.
  • Look beyond requirements to offer the right sized reporting solution that both meets customer needs and considers audience, performance, and usability.
  • Lead functional projects as a reporting subject matter expert and demonstrate extensive knowledge of Workday's object model, delivered reports and dashboards, custom reports, calculated fields, report performance, security, testing, deployment, and change management.
  • Develop reporting prototypes and solutions rapidly, using advanced, matrix, and composite report types, including cost and benefit of each to obtain fast iterative feedback.
  • Partner with stakeholders and governance team to evaluate current Workday security across all Workday Modules, and optimize the overall Workday security and configuration model.
  • Make security changes in Workday, create new roles, and permission list. Setup new users or make modification to existing user’s access by assigning roles within Workday.
  • Work directly with customers to research, troubleshoot, and resolve security issues in a timely manner.
  • Serve as Workday Financials lead, responsible for the Scope, design and delivery of Workday Solutions that optimize and enable our Finance Organization.
  • Staying updated with Workday releases and road-map and identify opportunities to leverage new features and functionality to improve business processes.
  • Responsible for Workday Financials and its integrations with external systems.
  • Support the relationship with the Finance Organization, utilizing proactive account management strategies, and develop strong business relationships
  • Provide production support for various Finance systems including, but not limited to researching and resolving problems with Workday and issues with business process.
  • Provide payroll, time tracking, absence and benefit system support for Workday.
  • Assist with overseeing the integrity of payroll data in Workday and other payroll-related systems
  • Provide assistance with special filings and audit processes by third party payroll provider (e.g. garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, quarterly tax verification, and workers compensation reports

Skills Required :

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with HRIS systems
  • Workday experience required
  • High level of HRIS competency
  • High level of literacy in HRIS concepts, including security models.
  • Adept at understanding data models, including data relationships
  • General knowledge of HR, Payroll and Benefits business processes
  • Accepts and adapts to change readily
  • Uses resources effectively and efficiently; can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal
  • Learns quickly when facing new problems; enjoys the challenge of an unfamiliar task; quickly grasps the essence and underlying structure of issues and/or tasks
  • Excellent English verbal, listening and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong critical thinking
