Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The Informatica Administrator and Developer is responsible for development of Business Intelligence reports and dashboards in support of our customer. The candidate must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Experience with designing, developing, testing, and supporting applications.
  • Detailed understanding of Informatica Power center Components 9.x
  • Expertise working with different kinds of sources - XML, SFDC, Web services etc.
  • Good experience in Unix Scripting
  • Good Understanding of Oracle, Microsoft Sqlserver, MS Access & Teradata. Need to be able to write complex queries with ease & Performance tuning.
  • Needs to be good at data analysis and debugging.
  • Experience developing web services-based applications with SOA
  • Data mapping experience - mapping data sources to and from multiple applications.

Required Skills:

  • Hands on experience in developing Informatica mappings and reusable components.
  • Strong knowledge in data warehousing concepts.
  • Understand Logical and Physical data modeling best practices and techniques
  • Experience in developing slowly changing dimensions, error handling and performance tuning.
  • Strong Data Analysis skills.
