Job Description
  • Work in a large health system supporting the Eagle/LIJ, Eagleview Data Warehouse, Invision/LIJ, and Optimum/LIJ Valley Stream billing systems.
  • Heavy focus will be on Eagle and Eagleview Systems, requiring a strong SQL programming background, along with SSIS and SSRS in order to automate the scheduling of jobs out the Eagleview environment.
  • Responsible for working with the business community, interpreting their business requirements, developing technical specifications for the programmers, and ensuring the final product meets client expectations.
  • Act as an IS Liaison to the Patient Accounting dept. at Northwell Health.
  • Will have direct interaction with the IS staff and Patient Accounting leadership and staff.
  • Will function in a role as our go to person for all SQL & SSIS How to programming questions.
  • Will need to work closely with the Northwell Health (TCoE) Application Testing environment as required for all New Project based application upgrades.
  • Design report solutions that align with data management principles, policies, standards and best practices
  • Support reporting cycles (ie daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Adhere and develop all documentation standards, development lifecycle tasks, and status reporting requirements
  • Work under the direction of the Manager to provide technical application solutions for assigned business areas.
  • Identify the common causes of the defects, prioritize them and systematically remove them so that they do not reoccur in further development work.
  • Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents programs or technical configuration.
  • Perform technical application configuration and configure /run reports at user request.
  • Design and execute unit, system and integration test plans for new developments/releases/reports.
  • Maintain technical documentation based on standard operating procedures in support of the assigned application.
  • Provide production support.
  • Interface with Various Teams to assist in resolving support calls escalated by the Service Desk.
