Job Description

Our Applications Developer provides support services to the J68 R&D PMO in the following areas:

  • Provide ongoing KM Portal Tool Monitoring, Improvement and Support to sustain the overall capability.
  • Assist in maintaining the J68 R&D KM portal technical functionality on the SharePoint Online/Office 365 site, support planned transition to SharePoint Online.
  • Monitor the KM Portal daily operations for issues impacting functionality and day-to-day use, identify issues, proposed fixes and improvements for any problems that degrade site functionality. Recommend priority of fixes and improvements to be accomplished over the contract life to the COR.
  • Assist users with site access, end-user feedback, funds request forms, and uploading programmatic documentation.
  • Assist with refining existing financial reports and implementation of new reports to support greater visibility, transparency, and availability of financial and program information Monthly Status Reports.
  • Report discrepancies identified in/among each of the existing KM portal major modules, Monthly Obligation Plans (MOPS), Contract Action Tracking System (CATS), and Financial Execution.
  • Assist (by reviewing site landing page, lists, workflows, libraries and content for accuracy; help users access new site) with post-transition SPO migration efforts and document any problems identified that impact the KM portal operations, including correcting minor problems identified within the current KM portal capability.
  • Complete documentation required for KM Portal Issue Submissions and submitting a request to the DLA Single Point of Entry site for request to be routed for action to the J6 SharePoint Online Administrator to correct site issues.
Job Requirements

Education:

Bachelor of Arts or Science in business related discipline (logistics, industrial engineering, management, economics, finance, information technology).

Experience:

Two years’ recent experience within a DOD organization, such as support to DLA R&D program or equivalent R&D experience.

KM Portal technical support, including consulting with project team and end users on site application requirements; maintenance and minor bug fixes or enhancements; troubleshooting post migration to Microsoft SharePoint On-Line O365; and developing software user guides, charts or training.

Certifications:

Must hold Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server

Proficient in:

  • MS Office Suite, MS Project
  • MS Visio, HTML
  • VB Script , XML
  • Microsoft ASP. Net

Clearance:

IT Level Investigation: Minimum adjudicated NACLC.
